May 2016:  At the Benefit, Max was honored by the City of Eureka Springs as one of the first inductees into the Eureka Springs Artist Hall of Fame, in recognition of his contribution to the City, to its culture, & to the community itself.  Selena Parrish accepted the award on Max's behalf from Mayor Butch Berry.  An exhibit of Max's work will be installed in the Eureka Springs Auditorium.

If you weren't able to attend the event, you missed a stunning film tribute, "Making A Point: The Art of Max Elbo".  Directed by Sandy Martin, scripted by Lucilla Garrett & narrated by Kim Stryker, the short film explores the depth & talent of Max's work from his early Grande Ballroom days thru the many images he has produced during his years in Eureka Springs.
